Progress in the E.R.

Well, it's been a full week of destruction, reconstruction, facelifts, moving, unpacking and final touches. Our little shoppe is close to reopening. My days have been spent painting. There were more nooks and crannies in this new location so there was always something new to paint. I slept well at the end of each day and, in between feelings of panic "I'll never get this done!" and desire for a second wind, I very much enjoyed these days on the ladder with my nose two inches from drywall.

It's a good day for Mark when he can use his sledgehammer.

Looking a bit ecstatic about paint.

An organized chaos.

Getting there.

Starting to look like a shoppe again.

Hey, Colleen! The shop looks great! I must confess to feeling similar emotions about painting--nothing can else can transform a room so completely and cheaply and easily!

Good luck with the opening! I'm praying for you, girl!
