The Pancake Chronicles
My name is Colleen.
I love taking my time and finding beauty and humour in things before they happen - as in seeds and salamanders.
"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing — to reach the Mountain, to find the place where all the beauty came from — my country, the place where I ought to have been born. Do you think it all meant nothing, all the longing? The longing for home? For indeed it now feels not like going, but like going back."
C.S. Lewis - Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold
"Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why."

Very cool photos. I can't say that I can relate to the daily coffee thing, but I can relate to the sleepy slumber. This seems to be my constant state. Babies tend to do that to ya. Now, a good Starbucks Caramel Machiato, White Chocolate Mocha, or my new Christmas fave...Chai Egnog Latte, could help with that sleep fogginess. Let's do coffee!
LETS! Oh for a gingerbread latte. Sigh. I missed that one this year! In Sidney I'd buy a gingy latte and drink it between bites of a marzipan bar. The two were meant for each other, I'm telling you. Pure Christmas heaven. Dickie chick, I will see you in April and then we CAN do coffee. And we will!
yes, I agree, bloggy blog is the greatest blogger I know. I honesty believe that she should also start writing a book and I would be the first in line to buy it. I love the words she comes up with. Next to my kids (I think dickie chick is one of them) she is the greatest. Now I must go and get myself a grande non fat hazelnut vanilla latte.
I'd be second in line for the book. And I got an espresso machine for Christmas so if we ever get some yellerknife company I can make gingerbread latte's in the morning when said company is in the sleepy slumber state.
I have something to say for myself. Who wrote the above comment? I would like to know who it is that will be making me gingerbread lattes and where I should show up and when. This "anonymous said" business ... I don't know.
any questions?
