This may just be my favourite picture of me of all time. (Click picture for maximum affect.)This is also one of my favourites. A picture of me and my older bro taken just minutes before (or after - I can't remember which) the first photo. The really amazing thing is that both of these pictures are me. There is no doubt about it. Of course the question that begs to be asked is who am I really? In which image is my true likeness revealed and in which image have my features, by chance, arranged themselves into a fluke of nature the second the shutter was released? More pressingly, if you bumped into me which Polaroid would you be assaulted with? *

I think that would depend on how fast I was going when I bumped into you.
You have highly accurate suspicions, Son. :) My sister-in-law took that picture of me and just as she snapped it I blinked and asked a question. We pretty much laughed till we cried as we watched the Polaroid develop.
Mature, hey? ;) Those pics were taken a few years ago after I came back from a missions trip. It's the most tanned I've ever been or will be as I am the whitiest whitey you ever did saw. :)
My name is Colleen. I love taking my time and finding beauty and humour in things before they happen - as in seeds and salamanders.
"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing — to reach the Mountain, to find the place where all the beauty came from — my country, the place where I ought to have been born. Do you think it all meant nothing, all the longing? The longing for home? For indeed it now feels not like going, but like going back."

"Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why."
