Mercy me, my eyes are dry. I blink and I blur and I cloze my eyez and roll zem in zee smallezt of circlez in zer zocketz. Sweet relief! I cry (but my eyes don't cry, my voice does because it is my eyes that are dry and if they were crying they would not be dry, you see).

Figure A:

This is a replica of my eye - all dry and eye-like.

I don't like it.

Thanks everyone! Yes, my eyes already are feeling better. I did get some drops and that helped me through the immediacy of it. Plus I started taking cod liver oil again, I'd slacked off for a bit, and noticed an almost instant difference in how my eyes felt. That stuff is great for dry skin and winter blues. I'm a believer!

Beta-Carotene is good too. Cod liver oil? I shall have to try that.

I remember my mom making us take cod liver oil during the winter months. Quite traumatic!

Ruthie Bean! - I haven't tried Beta-Carotene. I don't even know what that is! It sounds vitaminy.

Rachel - I remember it being traumatic, too. The stuff I have is flavoured lightly and if I gulp it back and try to miss my tongue it's very tolerable. :)

cod liver oil? Interesting. You can learn so much in blogland!!
Doesn't it bring on a b.m. prior to labour (so I've heard!) so I find it odd that it can also help with winter blues!!

Beware - Castor Oil can actually bring ON labour--this can be good or bad, depending on when you take it! (I originally wrote "do it", but then changed it--but come to think of it, that can bring on labour, too. Uh, so I've heard.)
