The Pancake Chronicles
My name is Colleen.
I love taking my time and finding beauty and humour in things before they happen - as in seeds and salamanders.
"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing — to reach the Mountain, to find the place where all the beauty came from — my country, the place where I ought to have been born. Do you think it all meant nothing, all the longing? The longing for home? For indeed it now feels not like going, but like going back."
C.S. Lewis - Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold
"Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why."
Rusty Ryan - Ocean's Twelve

Those are great pictures. Looks like the perfect day to enjoy a skylight!! I always wanted one!
Whoa, -30 is what I am reading as your temp. Wishing you many warm rays through your newly brushed skylight.
Love you Colleenie!
Thanks Mark for letting in the sunshine for Colleen!!!
Those are neat pictures! Did you take those from your kitchen looking up? How cool!
WILL IT EVER STOP SNOWING???!!!!!
Sigh.
Kori - my skylight is a great blessing during a long, darkish winter.
Cheryl - we've finally had our "cold snap". It's -34° as I type! I'm drinking steaming hot water mostly just to keep my hands warm.
Rachel - I KNOW! He is great. He knows how much my skylight means to me.
Moni - Yeah, I just stood underneath snapping away. The colours really struck me. :)
Oh T! I'm feeling it! And yes, it will. Hang in there. We've had our coldest weather of the winter now that it's March. I guess that's the "in like a lion" part. Hopefully, it "baaaas" on the way out.
Amen to that!
Did he know you were taking them. I love the last one where he is looking in.
Hi Laurie! About half way through my snapping away he noticed. He mostly just ignored me though. Not a camera guy. :) How's work?
I want a sky light! Jealous!
Kandace! You wanna skylight? Mark has a power saw you can borrow ....
Work is going ok. I had to take the kids to work with me for a bit tonight and I am working again tomorrow pm but have found friends to take the kids.
