The Pancake Chronicles
My name is Colleen.
I love taking my time and finding beauty and humour in things before they happen - as in seeds and salamanders.
"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing — to reach the Mountain, to find the place where all the beauty came from — my country, the place where I ought to have been born. Do you think it all meant nothing, all the longing? The longing for home? For indeed it now feels not like going, but like going back."
C.S. Lewis - Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold
"Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why."
Rusty Ryan - Ocean's Twelve

Hey, Colleeny, NICE to let us know you were going somewhere in the first place! ;-)
Kidding friend. Sorry we missed you. Next time, okay?
Smooches!
Definitely next time! I was feelin' it - being SO close! :( I'm hoping our next road trip isn't so long in coming as this one was because I'm sorry we missed you, too. I'm anxious to hear all about this dream house! SO COOL!
x and an o.
Very cute photo of you guys! So glad you made it back safely.
Love ya girly!
Hey Colleen....so glad to see you back in blog-land. It was great meeting up with you and the gals for dessert!

Hey Colleen, glad to hear you are back safe and sound and hopefully hear stories of your travels?!?
looks like fun!
I've missed you in blogland and am so relieved to finally see a new post. I'm glad you made it home and can't wait to hear all about your adventure!
Hello all! I had a great trip. It was good for my heart. ♡ It was something I really needed but didn't know it at the time. So! I'm home. I will update you with all the INCREDIBLE things I did whilst I was away. You will be ASTOUNDED and AMAZED as I share with you my daily activities. You will be PERPLEXED at the workings of my mind. You will LAUGH with relief and joy as I convey stories to you in which I find myself in hilarioius scenarios. And you will WEEP when it is all over and I have no more left to say - longing to hear more but knowing that the end has come.
Yes, my trip was that good.
:D
Glad you made it home safe and sound and so happy to have you back! I am so excited to hear tales from the "outside"!!!!
Levi and I are at home sick with really and colds, not letting up at all. I am waiting for him to fall asleep so I can too!!!!
I meant really BAD colds. That makes much more sense! :)
It looks a little cold in that picture. Did you drive all the way?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Glad it was a good time, Colleen. Looking forward to more details.
Kelly, is that you??? I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so miserable. That just plain ol' sucks. Are you feeling any better?
Cheryl - It WAS cold. EGADS! We were freezing our hineys, that is for certain. It was the North's way of kindly saying "I missed you guys!"
any questions?
