The Pancake Chronicles
My name is Colleen.
I love taking my time and finding beauty and humour in things before they happen - as in seeds and salamanders.
"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing — to reach the Mountain, to find the place where all the beauty came from — my country, the place where I ought to have been born. Do you think it all meant nothing, all the longing? The longing for home? For indeed it now feels not like going, but like going back."
C.S. Lewis - Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold
"Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why."
Rusty Ryan - Ocean's Twelve

That was awesome! Thanks for the laughs tonight :)
Fantastic clip. I go weak at the knees around musical, talented people. I loved his comment about walking to school as a boy with a cello and likening it to being a lame gazelle in the Serengeti.
Hope you're doing ok without your man around and hope he gets home soon. Scott left this morning at 5.00 am for the Congo...looks like we're all man-less these next few days (Sonya, how are you doing?)
I'll be away for the next ten days in China, but will be sure to write when I get back and check your blog out whilst I'm away. You are most welcome in Geneva anytime by the way.
Take care and big hugs.

Brilliant!!!!!! He's my hero.
No prob, Kori Bean! Glad to know it tickled your funny bone like it did mine. :D
Cat - I hear ya, I always had a thing for music boys. Once in a blue moon Mark will play the piano and I love it. He's so talented but it's not his passion so he doesn't play it often ... and he's home now! And you and yours are both away. I hope you take photos of China. Have you been before? (Wow, lots of fragmented thoughts.) Thank you for your warm Swiss welcome! May I return your gesture by saying you will find a warm place north of 60 in Canada should you find yourself here. :)
Ruthie! I thought you might like 'm. :) ♡
Thanks for laugh #2 this morning!!! My fam even came to check out what I was watching! (outloud laughter usually draws them in!)
any questions?
