St. Dunstan's Basilica in Charlottetown
St. Dunstan's Basilica
in downtown Charlottetown.

Stairs inside.

Cows! It was voted the best ice cream shoppe in Canada by Reader's Digest.
I had some. It was good.
But.
Don't hate me.
Ice cream is just okay in my books.
Unless it's homemade.
Don't leave.
Please?
Wendy really loved hers. Does that count?

I bought a scarf here.
You can't have enough scarves in my town.

well ....
I scared Wendy with this look.
(Laughter means fear, right?)
Never get scared when you first take out pin curls.
You will look and feel scary though.
It takes time for pin curls to chillax.
sidelong curls
Anyone else notice that my closeups don't seem to ever involve direct eye contact?
Cameras are like bears: avert the eyes and back slowly away.

Beautiful Anna.

bib
Lobster for dinner!
Thankfully bibs were provided.
I've never worn a bib at a wedding.
At least not in a long, looooong time. *

Whoa! Lobster at a wedding? I've never had anything that good at a wedding. Lucky!

I hope you post a picture of your new scarf. I love scarves!

I'm very sad that for whatever reason, my computer won't let me see the pictures on this post. Cheryl says they're great. I believe her, but I wish I could see for myself. :(

I must say though, that I think I stand with you on your sentiments about ice cream. So I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying right here. :)

Sonshine - well it was the east coast. Don't they eat lobster for breakfast there? I dunno.
Okay. The scarf. It isn't a funky scarf. It's all softness and pink and white. You strike me as more of a funky girl than a softness and pink and white girl but how can I really know? I am only just getting to know you. Don't let me judge you. Don't let me box you, man. I'll see if I can get a picture of it in future that will make you swoon with jealousy. HA!

Mindy! You don't know how shocked and happy I was to find a fellowette non-ice cream adorer! I do like it with cake. Do you? Just a bit with each bite. It just doesn't rate as HUGE. I remember someone making homemade ice cream though once and it was ... luv-er-lee. I'm very glad you've stayed.
How's your evil cold?

Thankyou for your blog. It makes me happy. Ice cream is only really great if there is warm fresh pie under it.

Does it? Oh! That's the best thing you could say, I think. Well you could say other best things like "I'll be right over in 5 minutes" or "I'll be right over in 5 minutes with some Cloverdale honey" or "I can't come but the honey's in the mail" or "I wish I could send honey in the mail but it's too sticky" or variations thereof.
More importantly, how could I forget about pie? HOW? I do not know. Yes, warm fresh pie with vanilla ice cream all melty over it. haaaaahhhhh. I may need to define and refine my feelings for ice cream.

If laughter means fear, I was scared out my pants, too.

You're great. Has anyone told you that today?

Ha ha, Scrap! For some reason it took me awhile to get that.
And no, you were the first. And only. And you made my heart glow. You have a way of doing that. ♡

Love the PEI pics! I would love to go to that Cows ice cream place myself some day, hmm maybe one day! Too bad that your pics didn't all turn out and that you ran out of space on the memory card, perhaps it's time to either upgrade the camera or get a bigger memory card?
Glad you're back in town! Although now I'm leaving for 3 weeks so who knows if I'll even see you unless it's at church tomorrow!

Hey Moni! Guess who I bumped into purely by accident whilst in PEI? DAN & SUE! It was hilarious! They don't even live in PEI. It was pretty cool. And YES, I'll see you today before you leave. I have a question for you ....

My Mother doesn't like ice cream either so I'm sure it is a taste by taste thing. I won't hold it against you. :)

Kori - Thanks, man! :) The lobster was FUN.

Karen Beth - phew! That's a relief. But I feel now I should clarify. It's good but ... it's just not "all that". Great on warm pie, or with cake or between sips of hot black coffee. Maybe it's just that I like it as an accompaniment rather than the feature presentation. I think that's it. :)
