Hello, hello! Oh hello! Is that you still? It's been awhile, hasn't it?

I must have a cup of coffee and unpack and iron wrinkles and hang things up and put things back and find new places for new things and feed the fish and find out where that smell is coming from in my fridge and listen to messages and erase messages and pack a lunch and regrocerize and throw things out and throw things in and just throw things. In short, I must lay claim to my home again.

Having found the rhythm of my daily life again I look forward to being here with you.

But really, if I'm going to be honest, rhythm or no rhythm, I'll be here.

Happy New Year!
How was your holiday?
Fill in the               for me.

Welcome home my dear!

The holidays were ... um... typically busy and kid-orientated for me :) But honestly, most of my life is kid- orientated!

I'm glad you're back :)

My holiday was busy, very busy but good. :) The festivities aren't over yet. The sister is in London town till the end of the week. The bf is 10 days away (woohoo), my 25th is 10.5 days away! Yay! Did anyone say..." PAAAAAARTY?"

Colleeeeeeeen!!!!! Wooohooooo, she returns! I have been dipping in, I have to admit, to see whether you had written. And each time I felt like a child walking away from a Christmas tree where there were no presents beneath it. And then just now...Wow, a red shiny new bike! Oh I am so glad you're here and so happy you are well and can't wait to share this year in blogland with you! Your post, the way you wrote it, reminded me of a Tom Waits song, awesome.

Lovely to have you back. I'm smiling here (can you sense that I'm smiling?).
