The Pancake Chronicles
My name is Colleen.
I love taking my time and finding beauty and humour in things before they happen - as in seeds and salamanders.
"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing — to reach the Mountain, to find the place where all the beauty came from — my country, the place where I ought to have been born. Do you think it all meant nothing, all the longing? The longing for home? For indeed it now feels not like going, but like going back."
C.S. Lewis - Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold
"Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why."
Rusty Ryan - Ocean's Twelve

lovely pictures my dear... where is this?
Thank you, Tara. :) We spent Christmas with Mark's family. It's always so beautiful there.
Love it! You have such a good eye for little things.
You really should publish a book with all your pictures. I love the things you see.
There's just something so comforting about an old farm house.
I love the picture of the sunbeams on the floor. It just warms me all over.
My fave is the basin...Makes me want to splash water on my face! Beautiful pictures!
I really agree with Mindy above- you should publish a photo book!
Those photos are fantastic.
Though you don't scrapbook, you certainly know how to make art with pictures.
These are really nice pictures, and the floor is much like my farmhouse floor, only a little less worn. :<) I especially love the torn sheet music. It makes me feel that it has been played over and over and has been much loved.
You all are a grrRRReat encouragement to me. Truly, thank you!
any questions?
