The Pancake Chronicles
My name is Colleen.
I love taking my time and finding beauty and humour in things before they happen - as in seeds and salamanders.
"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing — to reach the Mountain, to find the place where all the beauty came from — my country, the place where I ought to have been born. Do you think it all meant nothing, all the longing? The longing for home? For indeed it now feels not like going, but like going back."
C.S. Lewis - Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold
"Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why."

I love the new header, great photo!
Miss you too,
Kel
I like the new header, but I admit to a little bit of sadness to see the watercolour girl-and-fish go away. I liked her. And her fish.
These photos are nothing short of stunning, Colleen. Thanks for the bit of beauty you brought to my day today.
Honestly, I really miss the old header. But perhaps the new one will grow on me. (I'm not too good with change..:) )
Purty flower!
You guys! I still love that girl, too! That watercolour girl was, well, Me. I may bring her back. I'm still not quite happy with each new header I've done. I think I wish all the headers since could be like the watercolour girl but be something I created. So far .... meh. Maybe I'll doctor her a little and bring her back. And the fish.
KELLI! xo.
Wait a sec. Son? Did you mean the teacup or the watercolour girl?
I meant the watercolour girl. I must have missed the teacup.
Thought I was the only one who missed the water-colour girl-and-fish ..... it is such a true pic of you and your personality, Colleen......hard to replace.
Your photos continue to be so interesting.....the peas made me laugh sooooo hard....such an inside family/bamily joke!
HUGS!
