The Pancake Chronicles
My name is Colleen.
I love taking my time and finding beauty and humour in things before they happen - as in seeds and salamanders.
"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing — to reach the Mountain, to find the place where all the beauty came from — my country, the place where I ought to have been born. Do you think it all meant nothing, all the longing? The longing for home? For indeed it now feels not like going, but like going back."
C.S. Lewis - Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold
"Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why."
Rusty Ryan - Ocean's Twelve

What an outstanding "God pic"....reverent, quiet, peaceful, thought provoking.....the beginning of a new and beautiful day!
This picture makes me think of fairytales and happy endings.

Hello southern mama! And thank you. I'm glad you've come. :) They were very nice steps to walk up.
Sonshine - it is a bit like that, isn't it? Like hope and a dark tunnel at its end at last.
And Karyn! Thank you! Indeed I have, on occasion, considered selling my wares ... I shall e-mail thee. :)
It looks like the sunbeams are tumbling down the steps. I love this pic. Add me to a list if you ever sell.
"sonshine" is the witty name I call my son.:<)
any questions?
