The Pancake Chronicles
My name is Colleen.
I love taking my time and finding beauty and humour in things before they happen - as in seeds and salamanders.
"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing — to reach the Mountain, to find the place where all the beauty came from — my country, the place where I ought to have been born. Do you think it all meant nothing, all the longing? The longing for home? For indeed it now feels not like going, but like going back."
C.S. Lewis - Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold
"Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why."
Rusty Ryan - Ocean's Twelve

Tom's first question was 'where's the sun?' Could they be facing it? I love this post. How big are these creatures and what are they called? Any fears of them biting you? I think, no, I know, I like Yellowknife better.
Ha, ha. I have no idea. A conspiracy perhaps?
How cool! I love it!
Perhaps they all know something you don't.
Obviously, because they are all blind in their left eye.
I think it's the sun, too but, as Sonya would say, I don't have the paperwork to back that up. :) I think they're iguanas and they're fairly big, probably ranging from 2-4 feet. Just what kind of conspiracy would have reptiles facing one way? That's hilarious purely on the basis of it's oddness!
That is a great question! Maybe they have to watch out for predators with one eye and enjoying the view with the other?
I'm pretty sure I'd like to be there enjoying the view myself! :)
It looks simply intoxicating!
any questions?
