      I was noticing the lovely reflection of a poolside sunrise when who should show up but this dude!


      This photo makes me laugh! It's so cartooney and kind of "doh dee doh" that I want to guffaw for the sheer joviality of it all. Yep - guffaw.

This guy, too.

      The happy, crazy noise of these birds at dawn and dusk bordered on pandemonious - some of them full-fledged Pandemoniums. The trees would fill with them and, as we say in Canada, they would just give 'er, singing their hearts out, welcoming and faring well the day. I'm surprised I slept through it in the mornings!
