The Pancake Chronicles
My name is Colleen.
I love taking my time and finding beauty and humour in things before they happen - as in seeds and salamanders.
"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing — to reach the Mountain, to find the place where all the beauty came from — my country, the place where I ought to have been born. Do you think it all meant nothing, all the longing? The longing for home? For indeed it now feels not like going, but like going back."
C.S. Lewis - Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold
"Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why."
Rusty Ryan - Ocean's Twelve

OH, Auntie Colleen!!! What a precious little Little Precious!! Nephews are the greatest...and then you get a niece and you realize there's no way to decide after that. Oh, what a great picture!...and what a gift that you now live close enough that you could actually see him and take this picture on the day he was born?! So cool. I'm thrilled for you, friend.
Precious is the only word. I read once that the little crease in the upper lip comes from God putting a finger on it and saying, 'shh, don't tell all you know.'
Oh!!! Soooo happy for you Auntie! What an amazing gift!
Holy smokes, cutie patootie! Congratulations to the family. Babies are the best!
Oh, what a sweet, sweet little baby. Congratulations on becoming an auntie!
Thanks for putting a huge smile on my face this morning. What a darling baby boy. And such a wee little fellow he is. Have fun, Auntie! :)
What a sweet baby! Who are the parents?
You have such beautiful photos, makes me want to play with my camera and learn how to do more.
So, so sweet and beautiful! I want to nibble on that delicious skin!
Congrats to the mom and dad!

Hello all! Thank you for all your sweet words which have made my auntie heart do a joy twist ... or whatever that dippy warm mush feeling is called. :) The parents of this little number are [is?] my younger brother Jon and my sis-in-law Sarah.
What a wee treasure. We are a blessed family indeed! He will definitely add an abundance of spark and sparkle to our world!
Congratulations Aunti C. :)
