great shot! what time was it? the time stamp on your post was 5.07 - is that when you took the photo, too? Do you find the light different from Yellowknife?
Hi Nan, thank you! I didn't take the photo as early as five. I don't know what time it was but I know it wasn't that early! Today (July 18) the sun comes up in Yellowknife at 4:25 am and sets at 11 pm and here on the west coast it rises at 5:35 am and sets just after 9 pm. A difference of about 3 hours of light. And during the summer soltice there would've been a four hour difference in light. So! To answer your question ... yes! there is a big difference in light. Gee. You ask a simple question and you get a book! :)
