The Pancake Chronicles
My name is Colleen.
I love taking my time and finding beauty and humour in things before they happen - as in seeds and salamanders.
"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing — to reach the Mountain, to find the place where all the beauty came from — my country, the place where I ought to have been born. Do you think it all meant nothing, all the longing? The longing for home? For indeed it now feels not like going, but like going back."

"Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why."

Wowdada! Where was that taken, Colleen?
Hi Colleen,
I love this picture! It reminds me of how much I miss the rain storms on the prairies. By the way, I may your golden raisin buns today. Yum!
Your too punny!! ;o) Hee hee!
I love the contrast of the red barn! Beautiful!
Hello, Nan! This photo was taken in Northern Alberta. We'd always pass this barn on our way to Peace River. :)
And hello, Cindy! How ARE you? Hmmm ... now I have a wee hankering for those buns. I haven't made them in forever and they are Mark's favourite. Okay, I like them, too. :) It's good to hear your (typed) voice!

So it's a reach. Nobody's going to hold it against you because that picture is fantabulous!
You could fill a gallery with your gorgeous photos, I love what you choose to photograph. I love those rooster pics as well. What a sweet face. Ah Colleen, forever my breath of fresh air.
I love that barn!! And what a great field and sky. As always, you have taken a superb photo. :)
