sassy rooster

© Colleen Hilman

Yes, it's the sassy rooster! You know the one - all sassish and roostery. I bit the proverbial bullet and bought Photoshop Elements because my super cute and forever friend Shari gave me a heads up on a free tutorial at JessicaSprague.com that involved learning more about adding frames and words to your shots and I needed to have the program to do this class. I've been wanting to get the program for some time though so this pushed me to it (not one to part with money easily). The classes have entailed listening to a short video in which Jessica walks you through step by step in a thorough but concise fashion which I've found very helpful. I'm not sure the sassy rooster will come in handy for anything other than sassish roosteryness, but what is that, really. That aside it's been great to have a ship to sail through Photoshop, a massively large and lovely program.

Shari, I owe it all to you, man. :)

Kel - HA! Listen, I'm telling you ... check out JessicaSprague.com However the class that was free for a short period of time is now $25. It's called Photo Editing: Frame-ups & Special Effects. It's fun! Do it! :)

Hey Colleen,

I've been thinking about your rooster pictures like mad and would like the opportunity to purchase a print from you, (after you've settled in a bit) for my friend's birthday in Nov. Any chance that might be possible?

I hope you are finding peace amidst the change. Thanks for your continued posts. They are an inspiration!
