more with the fences
Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees
Send me off forever but I ask you please,
Don't fence me in.

What is it about fences? I always feel drawn to take photographs of them. Maybe it's my natural inclination towards order, rules and boundaries. That, and they make for nice still subjects. :)
Colleeen! This pig picture alone is enough PROOF as to WHY you should be writing and illustrating children's books, need I say more? You are utterly brilliant. In every possible way, at least those that are carried over the ether. How could love and joy for this disappear... I can help you with ideas, though doubt you'd have problems finding them. You are wonderful and one of the most talented incredible women I have ever met.
No pressure though. I will shut up about it now. This has to come from within you. But oh, I would buy every single copy of any children's books you ever wrote and distribute them far and wide...
Enough. You are loved and admired.
CC! You are SO encouraging I don't even know how to express it. But I will try ... give me time and I will try! xoxoxo
I am a big fan of fences. I read somewhere that men like big expanses of empty lawn, while women like garden enclosures. Who knows? But I know it is true of me. I feel safe and comfortable with a fence. :<) And I echo Captain Cat's words!
any questions?
