freckles

    As a five-year old I used to stand in front of the mirror at the bottom of the stairs with my face an inch from the glass wishing the few freckles I had would multiply and scatter themselves across my nose.  Alas, my wishing didn't conjure a speck.  But now this pipsqueak shows up and I finally have my freckles.
