(in a small apartment)

Where mumbly Morning Brain hovers over cereal
and cranberries and orange zest press into scones
and the mail is plopped and sorted
and the computer hums with loads up and downing
and Skype calls are made
and days are organized into lists and check marks
and dinner is prepped
and groceries commissioned into pantry and fridge
and jackets are tossed with keys and hats and mittens and every accoutrement that comes with northern living and the daily act of keeping one's phalanges and appendages warm and frost-free.

Yup!  Throw it all on the table!
