The Pancake Chronicles
My name is Colleen.
I love taking my time and finding beauty and humour in things before they happen - as in seeds and salamanders.
"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing — to reach the Mountain, to find the place where all the beauty came from — my country, the place where I ought to have been born. Do you think it all meant nothing, all the longing? The longing for home? For indeed it now feels not like going, but like going back."
C.S. Lewis - Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold
"Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why."
Rusty Ryan - Ocean's Twelve

Lovely pictures of such an annoying weed!
I want to love these photos, I really do. I love the green grass and the fence posts and the barbed wire. But I have such a hate for dandelions and they're just ruining everything. Bad dandelions!
I love these photos. Perfect spring photos. I guess i'm the odd one out, because I LOVE dandelions! I think they look perfect with their bright yellow (or white) against the bright green of spring grass. Cotton trees, I can hate...
I actually love dandelions too! I am brought back to my childhood and a puzzle we used to do with horses grazing in an open field of dandelions. Even when they invade my lawn, I feel a sentimental attachment to them and like to enjoy them for at least a little while before we part ways.
any questions?
