The Pancake Chronicles
My name is Colleen.
I love taking my time and finding beauty and humour in things before they happen - as in seeds and salamanders.
"The sweetest thing in all my life has been the longing — to reach the Mountain, to find the place where all the beauty came from — my country, the place where I ought to have been born. Do you think it all meant nothing, all the longing? The longing for home? For indeed it now feels not like going, but like going back."
C.S. Lewis - Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold
"Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why."
Rusty Ryan - Ocean's Twelve

Is there nothing more beautiful than greys, browns and such lovely sparkling light?
I think not. Therefore, I must be!
(well, and some other lovely colors i have no names for.)
Me again and sending thanks for your comment. Perhaps you have an email, perhaps not. Consider that I am a bit hampered by technology. Be that as it may, thanks.
I do love your photos and words!
I am always so happy to see your posts. e.
I love it from an artists eye and from a warm couch!
Much love!
Kel
Sarah - I love YOU! x!
Thank you, Ellen. I keep going back to your January 10th post, the second photo. I am transfixed by the colour and the stillness of it. So beautiful.
(If only technology would just stand still for a moment. We might have a chance to catch up!)
Kel - I wish I were on that warm couch with you! My arm is cold just from me sitting near the window. (Poor ol' me.) ♡
any questions?
